PURPOSE:To obtain a high voltage and large capacity electric apparatus having high reliability in insulation and excellent cooling efficiency by a method wherein an insulative liquid is filled in a closed circulating system part, and the insulative liquid with which a winding will be cooled is enveloped by the heat transfer of sensible heat. CONSTITUTION:An insulating vessel 24, consisting of a pair or upper and lower insulating rings 22 airtightly surrounding windings 4A and 4B and a pair of inner and outer circumferential insulating pipes 23, is provided in the main tank 1 of the transformer containing the transformer main body 2 consisting of a core 3, an inner winding 4B and the like and non-condensing insulating gas 5 such as SF6 gas and the like which is maintained at the practical temperature and pressure range. A closed circulation system 20, containing an insulating liquid 21, consists of a cooler 21 provided outside the main tank 1, a circulating pipeline arrangement consisting of an upper conductive pipe 26 communicated to the insulating vessel 24, a lower conductive wire and the like, and a circulating pump 28. As an insulating liquid, it is advantageous to use a low viscosity condensed liquid when compared with the insulating oil, because a high sensible heat transfer coefficient can be obtained with the former. |
