PURPOSE:To detect the temperature of a part deeper than an electric-power penetrating distance by several times, by arranging a plurality of antennas around an object to be measured, and combining the received thermal noise waves caught by the antennas at preset optimum phase conditions. CONSTITUTION:Thermal noises received by antennas 21-28 are guided to phase shifters 51-58 through transmission lines 41-48. The amounts of phases of the phase shifters 51-58 are set at the optimum values so that the phases are aligned at the output terminals. The phase of each detected signal is adjusted and the signal is outputted to a electric power combiner 6. Meanwhile, the phase of the thermal noise is random. The radiation wave emitted in each direction from a noted point, at which the temperature is to be measured, is radiated at a specified phase and can be combined. Then, the thermal noise power combined by the combiner 6 is measured by a radiometer 7 and displayed on a display part 8. The setting of the phases of the phase shifters 51-58 is determined so that the radiation waves emitted from the noted point A, at which the temperature is to be measured, are combined in the same phase in the combiner 6. |
