<p>The patent application relates to a drive for a garage door for garages without mains connection, the necessary energy being supplied in a known manner from a 12V battery. The problem of recharging the battery which previously always had to be transported away in order to be charged with any conventional charging device has been solved in the following manner: a voltage transformer transmits the recharging energy from the vehicle battery of the vehicle parked in the garage to the drive battery in a predetermined amount and at a predetermined time. The energy removed from the vehicle battery is replaced again during driving and does not adversely affect the ability of the vehicle to start. The drive battery can thus always remain in the garage.</p> |
