A blockout body for keeping openings free when casting floors and walls of structures has side walls which can be placed on shuttering boards, which enclose the space to be blocked out and are designed as permanent shuttering. In order that this blockout body can be easily fastened on the shuttering board and the subsequent operation of sealing the hole can be carried out quickly and cost-effectively, the blockout body has a base (6, 14) serving as shuttering-base element. <IMAGE>
