A device for grilling sausages and similar products to be grilled which are to be grilled all around has a plurality of cylinder-type or roller-type elements which are arranged parallel to one another and rotate about their axis. The sausages or the like to be grilled are each accommodated in the region between two adjacent cylinder or roller elements. The sausages are themselves set in rotation by the rotation of the cylinders or rollers. Due to the fact that the item to be grilled rests on rotating elements, it is itself set in rotation in accordance with the rotation of the elements such that the circumferential surface of the item to be grilled is grilled evenly with a substantially even drive of the rolling elements. <IMAGE>
