Work stations in which especially grease-containing steam is produced, are fitted with a false ceiling which consists of box-type, dome-shaped ceiling elements (3). These are suspended from a carrying system (29) on the supporting ceiling and engage with their edge strips in channel sections (4) which are arranged in a cross. Used in at least the regions of strongest steam production are ceiling elements (3) in each of which, at the topmost point, is a passageway (8) for the steam created. Each passageway (8) is surmounted by a deflecting screen (5), a peripheral gap (9) being provided on the upper side of the ceiling element (3). The steam produced is sucked from the intermediate space between the supporting ceiling and the false ceiling, condensable components being at least partly separated on the guide surfaces of the deflecting screen (5) and of the ceiling element (3). The deflecting screen (5) is preferably designed with two walls, inside which a heat exchange medium circulates. |
