PURPOSE:To improve recording density and reliability of recording information by recording spots for tracking in addition to recording spots for information in the stage of recording the information. CONSTITUTION:Beam light 22, 24 for tracking irradiate tracks on the outside of the inside peripheral apart at a space (d) from beam light 23 for recording and therefore in the case of recording the information to a disk in an unrecorded state, the tracking control is successively executed on the basis of the tracking control spot 20 on the recorded track. Tracking detection outputs TA1, TA2 are applied to a comparator 28 and the output tracking control signal TA3 thereof is applied via a change-over circuit 29 to a driving circuit 30 from which the current (i) flows to a coil 31 of an actuator for driving an objective lens according to the signal TA3. The tracking control is thus executed. Only the low-frequency component is applied to a driving circuit 38, by which the coil 39 of an actuator for feeding an optical head moves in the diametral direction of the disk according to the low-frequency component of the tracking control signal and the tracking control is executed. |
