PURPOSE:To allow even a beginner to design the top-down design easily by setting three kinds of basic switches as two-way switch, single-way switch and mixed type switch and using the basic switches so as to design a logic circuit in a hierarchy way. CONSTITUTION:The type A is 1:N two-way switch and (2N+1)-set of states are attained. In case of 1:2, one kind of the type A switch is obtained. The switch has four ON-states and one-off state, in total five states as a1 b1 (a state of data flow from a terminal a1 to a terminal b1, hereinafter described in similar way), a1 b2, b1 a1, b2 a1 (Fig. a). The type B is a 1:N single-way switch and has (N+1) states. In case of 1:2, two kinds of the type B switches are obtained (Figs. b, c). The type C is a 1:N two-way switch, and it is called a mixed type switch. The type C switch has (2N+1-M) states when M terminals among N terminals are of single direction. |
