PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the entirety by connecting the secondary side winding of a transformer in a center tap type, connecting a saturable reactor with a rectifier to form a magnetic amplifier, thereby reducing the loads of the voltage and the power of the amplifier by half. CONSTITUTION:The secondary side winding of a transformer 1 is connected in a center tap type. The connecting point is one end 2 of the output, a saturable reactor 5 and a rectifier 7 are connected in series with the opposite end of the center tap of the first secondary winding 3, a control circuit is coupled therewith to form a magnetic amplifier. The output side of the second secondary winding 4 is coupled through a rectifier 8 with the output side of the rectifier 7. A DC power source 28, transistors 27, 28 alternately switched, a control winding 29, and a current transformer 30 are coupled with the primary winding 21 of the transformer 1. |
