<p>PURPOSE:To improve considerably the durability of reprocessing equipment by using a member covered with pure Ti, a Ti alloy, pure Zr or a Zr alloy at a part contacting with a highly corrosive soln. in a reprocessing process. CONSTITUTION:A member covered with pure Ti, pure Zr, a Ti alloy contg. properly Pt, Pd, Zr, Mo or the like or a Zr alloy such as Zr-2.5% Nb by lining, cladding or other method is used at a part of reprocessing equipment contacting with a highly corrosive soln. contg. dissolved used nuclear fuel. Since said pure metal or alloy has very high corrosion resistance, the reprocessing equipment is not pitted by corrosion, the durability is improved, and the rate of operation of the equipment can be increased.</p> |
