The rotary engine is a very significant improvement in terms of the efficiency of combustion engines than was formerly possible with oscillating piston engines, because the rotary engine comprises essentially fewer components, has a lower energy-heat loss and functions without uneconomic mass acceleration of oscillating piston and connecting rod. It is the first really complete centrically rotating rotary piston engine for combustion engines, which can achieve a very high yield from the primary energy employed and helps to reduce the emission of pollutants by means of unleaded petrol and improved combustion. It largely replaces all existing types of engine of the spark ignition, diesel, Wankel and Stelzer types.
