Brake booster

Multi-circuit brake booster with assigned antilock device (ABS), with one closed and one open brake circuit and pressure control for the primary side of the brake master cylinder piston of the closed brake circuit by way of a reversing solenoid valve, which is reversed on accomplishing of ABS functions. As a result ABS pressure modulation for the closed brake circuit occurs on the primary side of the brake master cylinder piston of this circuit in the brake booster. A piston detent is provided for the ring piston of the open brake circuit through which the pedal ram passes, a spring-loaded intermediate ram being supported in the pedal ram which should the accumulator pressure supply fail is also arrested with positive interlock.
