PURPOSE:To grasp a sheet pile without breakage, by a method wherein a static chuck plate is attached to a static support part, a moving chuck plate is pivotally supported to a link operated by a hydraulic cylinder, and is pressed parallel to a press contact surface. CONSTITUTION:The frame of a chuck device 1 is formed such that frame plates 1a and 1b are joined by lateral frame 1c and 1d, a reinforcing plate is placed, and a cut 1B, in which a PC sheet pile 3 is attached, is provided in the lower part of each of the frame plates 1a and 1b. A longitudinal plate 8 is located to the one side of the cut 1B, and a static chuck plate 9 is secured by means of a bolt 10. A chuck plate 11 is attached to the plate 9 movably forward and backward, and the PC sheet pile 3 is held between the nip formed by the plates 9 and 11. This enables the PC sheet pile to be held in surface contact without breakage, and be grapsed irrespective of the thickness of the PC sheet pile. |
