PURPOSE:To obtain a favorable conductive water-base ink image on a zinc oxide photosensitive body, by previously treating the photosensitive body to make it hydrophilic. CONSTITUTION:The zinc oxide photosensitive body 3 in which a photoconductive layer 2 comprising a fine powder of zinc oxide dispersed in a binder resin is provided on a conductive base 1 is treated with an etching liquid to be hydrophilic, and then images 6 of a conductive water-base ink 5 are formed thereon by an ink jet recorder 4, thereby obtaining the zinc oxide photosensitive body 3 provided with conductive parts 7, namely, a plate 8 for electrostatic printing. Accordingly, printing of about 100-1,000 copies can be easily performed. |
