<p>PURPOSE:To attain high speed recording while utilizing the capacity of a power supply to the utmost without requiring complicated control by connecting in series plural signal delay elements functionally corresponding to a black picture element of picture information of one line to be recorded, propagating a recording pulse to the signal delay elements string, and driving each recording element according to the output signal of the signal delay element. CONSTITUTION:A connection changeover circuit 16 connects selectively in series flip-flops 15 only as signal delay elements corresponding to the black picture element of picture information. That is, D inputs and Q outputs of the flip-flops 15 corresponding to the black picture element are connected sequentially from the left to form a shift register. Further, a caption 19 is n-set of heating elements (recording elements) arranged in a line on a recording head, and each switching circuit 20 connects the other end of the corresponding heat elements 19 to ground when output signals K1, K2,...Kn of the corresponding flip-flops 15 are at high level to drive the heat elements 19, that is, to conduct electrically and to heat, thereby coloring the recording paper in contact with them.</p> |
