Calibratable maximum temperature thermometer which is additionally equipped with an electrical temperature sensor, a temperature/frequency converter and an electro-acoustic transducer for transmitting an acoustic signal which contains information relating to the instantaneous measuring sensor temperature and its rate of change and facilitates the relocation of the thermometer - particularly in the case of application in veterinary medicine relating to animal husbandry in open stables.
