PURPOSE:To contrive energy saving by a method wherein a necessary air-conditioning area is air-conditioned by a blow-off airflow distributing and deflecting means while the air is sent to the boundary between other air-conditioning area by the same means. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a blow-off means, which blows off the distributed respective blow-off airflows to the necessary air-conditioning areas in the air-conditioning room divided into a plurality of air-conditioning areas by the blow-off airflow distributing and deflecting means 4 capable of deflecting respective blow-off airflows, temperature sensors 6, 7 detecting the temperatures of air in respective air-conditioning areas, a necessary air-conditioning area air temperature setting unit 15 and a control unit 18, which derects at least one of respective blow-off airflows to the boundary between the necessary air- conditioning area and the other air-conditioning areas except the necessary air- conditioning area and controls the output of the temperature sensor 6 among the plurality of temperature sensors 6, 7, which is corresponding to the necessary air-conditioning area, as well as the air temperature in the necessary air-conditioning area. According to the method as described above, energy saving may be contrived without spoiling the comfortable property of the air-conditioning.
