The invention relates to an artificial joint system which, owing to the combination of defined pre-stress of the implant at the resection level and a wholly or partially absorbable shaft or tensioning system, joins the intermediate piece of the implant to the residual bone at the resection level after a transitional period after implantation, and the shaft necessary for the transitional period in the tubular bone at the surface or the tensioning system of the intermediate piece is degraded to such an extent that a non-physiological force transmission via the shaft of the implant or via the tensioning system in the bone is impossible.
