Octopus intake manifold distributor for the central mixture preparation on spark ignition internal combustion engines, the individual intake lines of equal length being designed with an octopus-shaped geometry which open out into a so-called hot-spot pulp as thermos pot, in order to produce a uniform distribution of mixture to the individual cylinders.
