An opening, coupled window consists of two independently sashed glass panes which can be opened with respect to each other through mutual hinges and can moreover be opened together with respect to a frame or a wall opening through another set of hinges. In the coupled window of the invention the two independently sashed glass panes are connected to hinge fittings which simultaneously serve as hinge fittings for the opening function of the window with respect to the frame or wall opening. The hinge fittings, which are formed with means -holes or pins- (2) for opening with respect to the frame, are adapted in pairs to extend along and engage two opposite, parallel edges of the one sashed glass pane and are moreover provided with fitting parts, which extend toward the second sashed glass pane and are formed with means -holes or pins- (4) for the mounting thereof, said second sashed glass pane being provided with fitting parts for cooperation with the common hinge fittings. |
