PURPOSE:To permit linear action and curved action or the like to be easily further promptly performed, by constituting an actuator by a driving power source, which rotates worm shafts to be driven, worm wheel and an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:An actuator, in which a pair of worm shafts parallelly mounted to each other are rotatably supported through bearings 3 between a pair of supporting plates 2 mutually opposed with the predetermined space of a frame 1 while two motors 6a, 6b used as a driving power source are provided enabling the direction of rotation and its speed of the motor to be changed, operates a worm wheel 14. In this way, linear action, circular action and curved action can be performed through the worm wheel, engaged with these paired worm shafts, by controlling the direction of the rotation and its speed of the paired worm shafts. |
