PURPOSE:To provide a hydraulic medium mixture having excellent thermal stability and improved heat recovery efficiency in a heat pump, etc., consisting of a specified fluorine compd. and n-perfluorooctane. CONSTITUTION:Optionally, 1pt.wt. stabilizer (e.g. dimethyl phosphite) is added to 100pts.wt. hydraulic medium mixture obtd. by mixing 1mol of at least one fluorine compd. selected from among trichloromonofluoromethane, (di)chlorodifluoromethane, dichlorotetrafluoroethane, chloropentafluoroethane and octafluorocyclobutane with 0.4-100mol of n-perfluorooctane.
