FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of toothed wheel blank on gear-hobbing machine, processing of its gear rim with worm wheel hob at continuous rotation of blank and hob and feed motion, removal of bevels from end surfaces of teeth by single-turn worm gear-chamfered hob installed on the same mandrel with worm wheel hob, at continuous and concurrent rotation of blank and gear-chamfered hob and serial placement of mandrel in position of every end treatment. Removal of bevels from end surfaces of teeth is done with two single-turn worm gear-chamfered hobs installed on mandrel common for worm wheel hob and arranged with different direction of helical line of teeth and angle of working profile. At that motion of mentioned hobs teeth is directed to the end, thus providing symmetrical location of processed teeth on both ends in relation to plane that is perpendicular to hob axis and contains blank axis, and maintaining angular size between foresaid plane and end profiles of teeth in the end of bevel treatment, and the size is determined according to given dependence. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of treatment. ^ 3 cl, 7 dwg |
