This car sun visor corresponds externally to the shape of customary known folding-down car sun visors which are non-transparent and have synthetic upholstery. The innovation in this car sun visor is a synthetic housing which is accommodated in its interior, is rectangular and very flat and out of which a darkly coloured, transparent polycarbonate/macrolon sheet which corresponds in size to this visor housing can be pulled. In the event of a severe dazzling effect, the car sun visor can be folded down with one hand and at the same time the anti-dazzle sheet can be pulled out in the housing of the car visor; this takes half a second. In the pulled-out state, the protection against dazzle is increased downwards by the entire height of the visor by means of the darkly coloured, transparent anti-dazzle film. Without pushing the anti-dazzle film into the car visor, a second height control can take place by pushing forwards against the windscreen, by means of which control excellent screening is obtained especially against sun rays which strike obliquely from above.
