The covering consists of a thin metal sheet which is provided with an insulating coating on the side facing the radiator. In the upper region, the thin metal sheet is bent towards the radiator and has in this part circulation slots. It is suspended on the radiator itself. The insulating coating preferably consists of a hard foam on a polystyrene base and can be adhesively bonded or foamed on.
