The device is suitable for transporting bulky goods, such as washing machines, fridges, electric cookers, etc. over steps. Only one person is required for this transporting operation. The body of the structure is constructed using the principle of a sack barrow. In the lower part, there is a crankshaft with a gearwheel and the running wheels mounted thereon. A floor plate which bears motor and battery is mounted on this shaft. The shaft is moved by the motor via the chain drive and reaches a stroke of 200 mm over the crank in order to overcome the difference in height in the case of steps. At the end of the shovel of the barrow two support wheels are attached which are supported on the step when the load is being transported by the sack barrow. Keys are mounted on the right and left of the handles and, by virtue of the mutual key locking, move the sack barrow, which is capable of travelling over steps and has battery drive, either upwards or downwards. The battery is charged with the built-in charging device. The maximum permitted load is 100 kg. The load is prevented from falling off by a safety strap.
