The aim of the invention is that the drive forces engaging on the tool support do not give rise to any deformations which have an effect on the accuracy. According to the invention, the aim is achieved in that a crosspiece 7, which is connected to a hydraulic cylinder 3 of the hydraulic drive, is directed with its support arms transversely to the drive direction of the hydraulic cylinder 3 towards the housing wall 5 of the tool support 1 and in that the crosspiece 7 is assigned compensating members 6 which the crosspiece 7 connects to the housing wall 5 of the tool support 1 and to the hydraulic cylinder 3. <IMAGE>
