<p>PURPOSE:To erase a cue or control signal together with a video signal with a small erasion current by using a means that erases the cue or control signal only recorded on a tape when said cue or control signal is detected. CONSTITUTION:The signal recorded previously on a magnetic tape 2 is erased when a magnetic record signal eraser is set in a record mode. Under such conditions, an erasion bias oscillator 9 is actuated by a control signal 10 to supply an erasion current to an erasion head 8 for erasion of video signals, etc. When the signal recorded on a cue or control trank 5 is erased, a detection circuit 13 detects whether a signal is recorded on the track or not. Then the output of the circuit 13 is delayed 14 until a tape 2 arrives at an erasion head 11. An AND signal of said delay signal and the signal 10 is outputted through an AND circuit 15 to actuate an erasion bias oscillator 12. Then the signal of the track 5 is erased by the head 11. Thus the signal on the tape 2 can be erased with a small erasion current.</p> |
