PURPOSE:To easily connect a receptacle blade of a rotated plug with a receptacle for a prolonged cord connected to a receptacle installed on a wall or a ceiling by making he receptacle blade of the plug to be rotatable. CONSTITUTION:An infrared ray reception controller consists of a couple of receptacle blades 3 connectable to a receptacle supplying a commercial power supply, a plug 2 whose receptacle blades 3 are rotatable by 90 deg. to the main body, a reception section 11 detecting an infrared ray signal Si, a control section 12 inputting the signal from the reception section 11 and transmitting a prescribed control output signal, a switch means 13 turning on/off a power supply from the plug 2, a receptacle 14 outputting externally the turned on/off power, and a housing 1 provided with a reception window 10 for an infrared ray reception at the outside storing each section above. When the titled controller is not installed to the receptacle on the wall, a rotation lock tool 9 is detached from the housing 1, the receptacle blades 3 are rotated counter clockwise by 90 deg. around the rotary shaft 6, the receptacle blades 3 is plugged into the receptacle (a) of the prolonged cord (b) connected to the power plug and the housing 1 is fitted to the wall by using a fitting metal fixture 18. |
