PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. having a high rate of crystallization and excellent mechanical characteristics and heat resistance, by blending a specified styrene hydrocarbon copolymer, a polyalkylene glycol, etc. with a polyester contg. an ethylene terephthalate unit as the main structural unit. CONSTITUTION:A polyester compsn. consists of 100pts.wt. linear polyester (A) contg. an ethylene terephthalate unit as the main structural unit, 0.1-50pts.wt. styrene hydrocarbon copolymer (B) composed of a styrene hydrocarbon unit and an unsaturated monocarboxylate (sodium methacrylate) unit and 0.1-25pts.wt. compd. (C) (e.g. butylcarbitol adipate) selected from among esters derived from a polyalkylene glycol, a polyalkylene glycol ether or a 1-20C hydrocarbon having 1-3 carboxyl groups with an alcohol of formula I (wherein x is 1-4; R<1> is a 2-15C hydrocarbon group) or II (wherein y is 1-500; R<2> is a 2-15C hydrocarbon group; R<3> is H, a 2-20C hydrocarbon group). |
