PURPOSE:To improve the degree of correctness of heating and simplify the structure of the range by a method wherein the amount of vapor in a heating chamber is detected to control a high-frequency supplying means and a fan in the microwave oven, in which the temperature of the heating chamber and the finishing condition of food to be heated are detected and indicated. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of air, comming out of the heating chamber 1 upon heating an oven, is detected by a temperature sensor 7 provided alone in a conventional duct 3 and whereby the ON and OFF operation of the heater is controlled. On the other hand, a sensitivity switching means is operated during stopping of operations of a high-frequency generating unit 13 and the high- frequency fan upon heating by high-frequency to increase the detecting sensitivity of the sensor 7 and detect vapor sucked into the convention duct 3 by the fan which is produced from the food to be heated. The finishing condition of the food is detected by the detecting signal to control the microwave heating. According to this constitution, the heating of the food-stuff may be effected properly. |
