摘要 PURPOSE:To aim reduction in power cost for dehumidification and fall in cost of installation in preparation of O2 by pressure swing method, by carrying out recovery of cold heat of desorbed N2 with a cold heat storage material and regeneration of an adsorbent by contact of the desorbed N2 with an adsorbent for dehumidification in a regeneration process. CONSTITUTION:Air pressurized by the compressor 32 is cooled to 30 deg.C by the after-cooler 34, and sent to the dehumidifying column 37. The air dehumidified by the dehumidifying column 37 is cooled by the plate fin heat exchanger 41, fed to the cold heat storage column 43, the temperature of the air is dropped while it is being brought into contact with the cold heat storage material 44, and the air is cooled to -10 deg.C at the outlet of the cold heat storage column 43. The air cooled to -10 deg.C is further cooled by the heat exchanger 47 with freon at -22 deg.C flowing from the refrigerator 45 through flow channel 46, becomes about -15 deg.C coldest temperature, and passed through the flow channel 48, and sent to the N2 adsorption column 50 packed with the O2 adsorbent 49. N2 in the air is adsorbed on the adsorbent 49 and removed, O2 concentration is raised, and O2 product with about 93% O2 concentration is collected through the plate fin heat exchanger 41 and through the opened valve 51 from the flow channel 52.
