<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a typewriter from being abused by persons other than the user who has set a keyword, by a construction wherein an operative condition for printing is obtained only when a preset keyword is inputted into a processing part by operating a keyboard. CONSTITUTION:As far as a gate 14 in the processing part 6 is maintained in a closed condition, no signal is outputted from the part 6 even if a power source is thrown in or the keyboard 5 is operated, so that neither a typewriter mechanism controlling part 7 nor a typewriter mechanism part 18 is operated. After the power source is thrown in, an accord signal is outputted from a keyword comparing part 12 when the keyword previously stored in a keyword memory 11 is inputted, and an output signal from a flip-flop 13 supplied with the accord signal opens the gate 14, whereby a signal from a data-recognizing part 10 is supplied to the typewriter mechanism controlling part 7. Accordingly, the part 7 controls the typewriter mechanism part 8, thereby performing printing.</p> |
