PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of three-step cylinder by utilizing the space between the innercircumference of intermediate diameter cylinder and the outercircumference of small diameter cylinder and the interior of thick portion of cylinder as flow paths. CONSTITUTION:The three-step cylinder is constructed by sequentially engaging and coupling the first, second and third operating members and large diameter cylinder where the operating condition of an operating rod 6 is switched in three steps by regulating the oil supply from respective port 16, 17, 22, 23. Since a flow path 19 is formed through utilization of a gap between the innercircumference of an intermediate diameter cylinder 11 and the outercircumference of small diameter cylinder 8 while a flow path 20 is formed through utilization of the thick portion of tube of the intermediate diameter cylinder 11, a three-step cylinder of simple structure can be obtained.
