PURPOSE:To provide the titled adhesive which is well compatible with various adhesives, containing, as an extender, fine aggregate which has good lubricity and flow characteristics imparted thereto by a specified pretreatment and a nearly neutral pH and undergoes neither chemical reaction nor thermal change with time. CONSTITUTION:A cellulosic material such as crushed chip, pulp or rice hull is dried to such an extent that its water content is reduced to a specified level on air drying, whereby the texture of the material is broken. The resulting material is impregnated with a urea soln. The processed material is dried at 100- 250 deg.C and crushed into a fine 150-300-mesh powder. A required quantity of the fine powder is incorporated as an extender in an adhesive to obtain the titled adhesive having lowered residual internal stress and reduced changes in shrinkage factor after adhesion.
