PURPOSE:To improve the conversion efficiency with a simple circuit configuration by supplying an output voltage raised to the base side of a switching transistor. CONSTITUTION:When the third switching transistors 8a, 8b are turned OFF, the base and the collector of the first switching transistor 1 are biased forwardly by the raised output voltage VCHG. At this time the voltage VCE1 between the collector and the emitter of the transistor 1 becomes saturated voltage. A negative voltage is generated at a point Y, the base and the collector of the second transistor 2 are forwardly biased, and the voltage between the collector and the base becomes saturated voltage.
