<p>A burner assembly in which an inlet (28) is located at one end of an annular passage for receiving fuel, and an outlet is located at the other end of the passage for discharging the fuel. A register assembly is provided which includes an enclosure for receiving air and a divider (40) for directing the air from the enclosure towards the outlet in two parallel paths (42, 44) extending around the burner (20). Registers (46, 48) are disposed in each of the paths (42, 44) for regulating the quantity of air flowing through the paths and an injector (49) is provided in the outer path (42) for injecting sulfur absorbent into the secondary air stream.</p> |
