CUTLESS SIGNAL DETECTOR FOR OPTICAL FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To detect the signal of the optical fiber even at a fine part of cable wiring without cutting by bending the optical fiber with a member which has a bending-shape recessed part and a member which has a bending-shape projection part. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber 10 to be tested is clamped between the bending-shape recessed part 3 and bending-shape projection part 9. Then, a screw 6 is operated to mesh the bending-shape recessed part 3 and bending-shape projection part 9 with each other, and the optical fiber 10 to be tested is bent. In this state, a leak of an optical signal from the optical fiber 10 to be tested is detected by a photodetector 4 arranged near the bending-shape recessed part 3 to identify a corresponding optical fiber.
