The unloading unit has a disk-shaped throttle element (11) that extends to an annular space (10). A thrust compensation ring (3) and the throttle element are arranged such that one of the ring and the throttle element is fixed in an axial direction. The ring or the throttle element follows an axial movement of an assigned machine shaft (2). Two throttle bodies (12, 13) are reciprocally opened and closed by an axial relative movement between the ring and the throttle element, so that a pressure difference develops between two pressure chambers (7, 8).
