<p>The method involves supplying direct current with adjustable current intensity to a winding of a three phase asynchronous motor. A brake application is started with a given current intensity. Changes of signals are utilized for controlling the current intensity such that the motor is stopped in a given time, where the signals are provided at the winding. A pulsating direct current is supplied, where intensity of the pulsating direct current is controlled by a current-flow angle. A signal between current pulses is utilized. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for electrical braking of a three phase asynchronous motor.</p> |
