A linear actuator unit in which, despite the presence of a belt-like cover covering a slit opening formed in an outer rail, a slide plate is movable along the outer rail while causing the cover to retreat. The linear actuator unit has the outer rail (1) formed in a tubular shape with a hollow interior and having the single slit opening (11) extending in the axial direction, a slide plate (3) joined through the slit opening (11) to an inner block (3) that is located in the hollow interior and moving along the slit opening (11), the cover belt (6) placed between opposite ends in the longitudinal direction of the outer rail (1) to cover the slit opening (11), a belt guide member (7) separating the cover belt (6) from the outer rail (1) as the slide plate (2) moves, and a seal member (8) for sealing between the belt guide member (7), the cover belt (6), and the outer rail (1).
