PURPOSE:To take a picture with a field frame which is displayed speedily and accurately by displaying field frames of a front and a rear visual field frame plate selectively according to a zoom position signal. CONSTITUTION:The front visual field frame plate 16 and rear visual field frame plate 17 are arranged opposite each other at specific distance. A frame number corresponding to the zooming position of a photographic lens is selected, electricity is fed to a connection terminal corresponding to the selected frame number among connection terminals extending to respective electrode plates of the front and rear visual field frame plates 16 and 17, and an electric field is applied between the electrodes connecting with it. Then, the liquid crystal between the electrodes applied with the electrodes cloudy to display a front and a rear visual field frame. Inside visual field frames among plural field frames of the front and rear visual field frame plates 16 and 17 are displayed selectively as the photographic lens moves to the telephoto end side gradually, so that the visual field angle of the viewfinder decreases successively.
