PURPOSE:To obtain an antenna that secures high efficiency even in such an environment where the arriving efficiency of radio waves is deflected in a single direction inside an automobile, etc., by using a unipole antenna which is connected to a radiation conductor plate of a strip antenna through and end of the unipole antenna directly or in terms of a high frequency. CONSTITUTION:Microstrip antennas MSs 4, 5, 7 and 9 and a unipole antenna 6 are constituted by setting an inductor 9 between an earth conductor plate 4 extending in direction (yz) and a radiation conductor plate 5 as well as between the plate 5 and the plate 4 extending in direction (xy) respectively. The length Ls of each of antennas 4-9 is set at about lambda0/4 together with the width W and thickness (t) decided by a desired relative band width of each antenna. While the antenna 6 is set at a position distant by W/2 from both end parts of the plate 5 and also distant from a connection conductor plate 7 by (d) respectively. As a result, the electric fields radiated from antennas 4-9 and 6 are eliminated to each other in the negative (z) direction and increased with each other in the positive (z) direction respectively. Thus the unidirectivity is secured for those antennas as a whole.
