PURPOSE:To prevent simultaneous swing of all shelves due to breakage of a shelf attitude holding spring, by a method wherein a finger which swings in a condition to hold the free end of a lowermost stage shelf, a finger which holds a second stage shelf during swinging of aforesaid finger, and a finger which holds the lowermost shelf during waiting, are combined together to form a titled device. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 33 of a swing cylinder 32 is expanded in a condition that the free ends of all shelves 4 are lifted up, a detecting arm 31 is swung to bring to a state in which it is positioned parallel to the shelves 4, and with a cylinder 22 expanded, an arm 21 is also forced into a state in which it is located parallel to the shelves 4. An elevating frame 12 is then raised, and when the detector of a finger 41 detects a lowermost shelf 4, the frame is stopped being raised. With a finger 38 swung, it supports a second stage shelf 4b, and a lowermost stage shelf 4a, supported by a finger 26, is swung to a horizontal attitude. The finger 41 is then swung to right under the shelf 4b, and the fingers 26 and 38 are restored to their original positions. This constitution prevents the occurrence of unexpected simultaneous swing in a waiting attitude, resulting improvement of safety and prevention of deterioration in working efficiency. |
