PURPOSE:To make it possible to simply assemble a ribbon guide to a carriage, in a printer, by guiding the up-and-down movement of a collecting ribbon by a leaf spring shaped ribbon guide and a card holder for inhibiting the levitation of paper. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon guide 11 is positioned behind a card holder 10 and a collecting ribbon E is held under pressure between a ribbon guide part 11b and the card holder 10 and the ribbon guide part 11b prevents the positional shift of the ribbon E easy to slip out when the ribbon E is moved upwardly over a correction width region. An arm part 11d elastically suppressing the generation of the vibration noise between the ribbon guide part 11b and a ribbon cassette 3 and a tongue piece 11e for preventing the forward warpage and the generation of vibration noise of a wheel cassette 3 are integrally formed by one leaf spring material and fixed to the bracket 8 of a carriage A along with the card holder 10 by rivets. By this method, the ribbon guide can be simply assembled to a carriage. |
