PURPOSE:To form a required mark to the required position of a member in exremely short time even if the mark is large-sized by controlling the relative movement of the member and laser irradiating device by a control device and drawing the contour of the mark by laser light. CONSTITUTION:The prescribed marking pattern is inputted into the control device for controlling the irradiating of the laser irradiating device which irradiates a CO2 laser or YAG laser to the member to be marked and the relative movement thereof. The irradiation is automatically controlled by said device to draw to desired mark contour. The desired mark is formed in extremely short time in the prescribed position even if the mark is large-sized. Working efficiency is thus improved. |
