PURPOSE:To obtain thermal transfer type release paper prevented from the effect by a plasticizer and excellent in head matching property and water resistance, constituted by using synthetic paper as a support and using a specific polymer mixture as a binder. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic paper such as film process synthetic paper or synthetic pulp paper is used as a support and a heat-sensitive color forming layer, which based on a binder prepared by combining carboxyl group modified polyvinyl alcohol and polyamide/epichlorohydrin in a wt. ratio of 1:0.1-1, pref., 1:0.3-0.5, a leuco dye and a coupler, is provided on said support and a water-soluble polymer protective layer comprising polyvinyl alcohol or methyl cellulose is further provided to the upper surface of said heat-sensitive color forming layer while an adhesive layer and release base paper are laminated to the back surface of the support. |
