PURPOSE:To recover L-histidine in high yield, by using a microorganism having resistance to serine analogs or methionine analogs in preparing L-histidine by cultivating coryneform microorganism capable of producing glutamic acid. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism, e.g. Corynebacterium glutamicum SH-68 or Corynebacterium glutamicum TFM-24, belonging to a coryneform microorganism capable of producing glutamic acid, and having the ability to produce L-histidine and resistance to serine analogs or methionine analogs is aerobically cultivated in a nutrient culture medium, and the aimed L-histidine is collected from the culture fluid by the ion exchange resin method, etc. |
