<p>PURPOSE:To preform a speech input without modifying nor correcting a program, and also to select whether the input is supplied continuously or alone by coupling a speech recognizing circuit to the connector for a joy stick. CONSTITUTION:The output line of a speech recognition unit 5 is connected to the joy stick connector 14 of a computer frame 1. The unit 4 consists of the speech recognizing circuit 53 which recognizes and outputs the pattern of a speech signal from a microphone 52 and an interface circuit 54 which converts the recognition result output into an output signal in the same form as the output of the joy stick. The recognition result signal of the unit 5 is latched and outputted continuously through the latch circuit, gate circuit, etc., in the circuit 54 and then inputted to the main frame 1 through the connector 14. Consequently, a speech input is performed without modifying nor correcting the program and a selection of whether this input is supplied continuously or alone is made.</p> |
