The structure (1) has a connecting unit i.e. tilting unit (4) mounted with a pivot (7) on an adjustable spring-mattress structure. The tilting unit carries supporting elements (3) that supports a plate shaped body supporting unit (2) through flexible or rigid connecting arms (5) for authorizing movements of the supporting elements with respect to one another. Each connecting arm has two ends integrated with the associated supporting elements and the associated tilting unit in a pivoting manner by an articulation (5').
